Evidently gentle urban fable about elderly neighbors dating has a plot bend some won’t see coming. The story is excessively manipulative yet the lead on-screen characters’ respect reclaims the task. Fundamentally a gently inspiring story around a couple of elderly individuals who, with the backing of family and companions, discover affection in spite of their coming up short personalities and debilitating bodies, Salut d’Amour stars Geun-hyung, now 75, and Yoon Yeo-jeong, 68. While the story is excessively manipulative, Park and Yoon convey nobility to the piece.
After the apparently single Geum-nim (Yoon) moves in adjacent with her as of late separated little girl, the cranky and careless Sung-chil (Park) finds another reason in his life.
