Mike Flanagan, who has left behind the remaining but ambitious but mediocre oculus and suspicious HASH, directed the adaptation of Stephen King’s novel GERALD’S GAME to Netflix. While Flanagan’s film has been extirpably successful with Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood, Flanagan’s film is able to defend the road in spite of the unique “indomitability” of King’s story.
