I didn’t expect “U. S. Marshals” to be the equivalent of “The Fugitive,” and it isn’t. Be that as it may, I trusted it would approach the rigid pressure of the 1993 film, and it doesn’t. It has additional scenes, unnecessary characters, an erratic plot and an answer that the legend appears to continue learning and after that overlooking.
The legend is Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard, played by Tommy Lee Jones in a repeat of his co-featuring part in “The Fugitive.” The way that they made this semi spin-off without its unique star (Harrison Ford) is a tribute to the quality of Jones’ nearness in the prior film, where he had more exchange than the lead.
